The house was built in the 1920s and renovated in the 2000s, preserving the traditional Istrian architecture.
The interior is decorated in an eclectic mix, where modern design is combined with beautiful antiques.
Eco Villa CasaMenta is situated in the charming small village of Marčana in South Istria. It is available for up to 6 people
(2 bedrooms), with a large and fully fenced courtyard.
The interior has plenty of natural light and the balcony overlooking the garden is spacious enough to host sunset dinners. The house has unique charm and provides both privacy and the ultimate local experience.

About us
Welcome to our home!
Hello, my name is Marli and I would like to welcome you to Marčana, Istria! I am emotionally connected to this little place because my family has lived here for over 250 years.
When my husband and I got married in 1990, we decided to stay here, to start our family and to renovate the old house and build our home here.
After, in 2011 we started renovating the second part of the house and so CasaMenta was born!
We designed every detail with our guests' comfort in mind. Although my husband and I are dedicated to our professions, me as a university professor and him as a doctor, we are also engaged in many local activities with individuals, groups and organisations that are eco-friendly and socially responsible.
We hope that you will deeply enjoy our house, our garden, and all of its amenities, just as we do.
And as my family and I live right next door, we will always be available to you should you need ideas, advices or just a local chat!
Here is a tip! Our beautiful, natural and peaceful beaches are not crowded, even in the high summer season. And there are forests, fields, olive groves and paths ideal for deep relaxation...

Etymology of "CasaMenta"
The name "CasaMenta" is a wordplay. The word casa in Italian means home, while menta means mint, and our garden is
bountiful with it. On the other side, casamento is Italian for mansion, and considering the likeness of the estate, we thought it would be fun to call it that way!
Mint is an aromatic herb and has healing properties.
Its scent energises and relieves fatigue!
Enjoy our beautiful aromatic garden, take deep breaths of fresh mint scented air or have a relaxing massage with mint essential oils!
